Menands Junior Baseball and Softball League

Those interested in sporting the latest Menands Baseball fashion can check out our 2012 Aparel sale now thru June 15th. Orders can be placed on-line, or at our concession stand during any game.

Our Picture Day for the 2012 season will be held on May 9th indoors at the Menands School Gym. All Players, regardless if they are ordering photos are required to attend. (Your teammates will appreciate having you in the team photo.)

Please refer to the schedule below to find your team's time. Players should arrive 15 minutes early, in uniform, with all paperwork completed. Each player received an order form with their uniform. Additional order forms will be available this Saturday May 5th at the concession stand.

Once again the crack of the bat can be heard at Ganser Smith Park as our 2012 season is now underway! Mother Nature held back the rain for most of the day Saturday and our Opening Day parade and cermonies took place in excellent weather. Our new scoreboard was introduced, and on behalf of the entire Menands DPW, Foreman Tim Boyd threw out the first pitch.

Latest update from Baseball Weather Central....

With the cold front to our west slowed out by Buffalo, and slowly creeping its way across the state, our Opening Day festivities are on! While we expect to get our parade and first games in, our afternoon games are likely to experience sone rain, which may cause some or all of the afternoon games to be postponed. 

In the event any of our afternoon games being postponed, our website schedule will be updated immediately and parents will be notified by email automatically, as well as by your coach.

Opening day is practically upon us, and Mother Nature looks like she wants to rain on our parade....

In the event that the Opening Day ceremonies are postponed, we will post here, on our website, on Facebook, and will send an email to the league. In addition, your coaches will be in contact with you. In the event of a rainout on Saturday, Minor and Major games will be rescheduled, and our Opening Day ceremonies will be held on April 28th.

Please keep an eye out here before you head to the firehouse on Satuday.
